last kraft paper flower

done...!!!

...this is the last kraft paper flower tutorial and the mission giant paper flower backdrop is nearly completed...it only needs the actual arrangement of the flowers, which follow tomorrow.

this last flower is of course easy to make...and as you only need one shape of petal, you can easily make your own template.

curling the petals in two different directions makes the flower so special and it is definitely worth a try.

the tutorials of the other paper flowers can be found here:

- draw the outlines of the templates onto the paper

- cut out sixteen petals

- get your scissors ready

- curl the middle part of the petal by pulling the paper over the blade of the scissors

- curl the tip of the petal to the opposite site

- the petals should look like this

- draw a meduim sized circle onto another sheet of kraft paper

- cut out the circle

- apply glue to the outer edge of the paper circle

- adhere the first petal onto the circle

- repeat with the eight more petals

- add some more petals to fill up the gaps

- the second row of the petals should be placed closer to the centre of the flower

- get a larger strip of kraft paper ready

- fold the strip into half

- get your scissors ready

 - cut small fringes into the fold of the paper strip

 - roll the fringed paper strip

- apply some glue onto the end of the roll

- pull the fringes apart

- apply some glue in the centre of the flower

- place the rolled fringes onto the glue and press firmly
