amarettini cake pops

...to be honest...they are not really cake pops, more amarettini pops only...no cake...only amarettini...and butter cream.

i like traditional cake pops, but i thought it was time to look for some exciting alternatives...and these amaretto inspired pops are the first ones of my new selection...oh no...i totally forgot the oreo cake pops...so they  are the second ones.

...very easy and close to the original cake pops.

the are not going to win a beauty contest...but they are yummy and made with love...i think this should be taken into consideration, though.

...as i found an amaretto syrup in one of the local grocery stores, i used this for a non alcohol version, but the balls woud not mind some real stuff either.

 this is what you need

- 1 package amarettini (200g)

- 120g powdered sugar

- 30g butter

- 2 tablespoon cream

- pinch of salt

- white chocolate coating

this is what you have to do

- finely crush amarettini in a food processor

- beat together butter and icing sugar

- add vanilla, salt and creme

- mix until the filling has reached the consistency you prefer

- add the grounded amarettini and stir thorougly

- roll the mixture into small balls
